Types of Support and Maximum Contribution Levels

The Types of Support you can Request

Eligible applicants can request assistance at any stage of the application process for the following activities:

  • Online application portal support: create an online application portal account and submit an application or materials
  • Funding application support: application writing, proofing, compiling supporting documentation, sign language interpretation or application development, preparing re-application if unsuccessful
  • Funding reapplication: understanding and incorporating feedback, writing, proofing
  • Project monitoring and reporting: end of project report writing, planning end of project reports

Maximum Contribution by Type of Support

Online application portal support

This applies to applicants who identify barriers such as those described above and cannot register for an account.

Funding application writing support

This applies to applicants who identify barriers within the application writing process directly due to a physical/learning disability or due to living with chronic illness, mental illness or neurodivergence.

This includes assistance with writing and/or proofing an application and/or preparing supporting documentation.

Sign language interpretation and translation

We recognise that rates for sign language interpretation and translation can vary. Please base your costs on the rate quoted by your sign language interpreter.

Application development

This applies to applicants who identify as having an intellectual or developmental disability, or neurodivergence and require support to frame their original ideas and/or concepts.
