Funding Programmes

Creative Scotland funding is open to individuals, groups or organisations to apply for, supporting a wide range of activity in the arts, screen and creative industries. View the programmes below for more information about what each will support and how to apply.

Culture Organisation & Venues Recovery Fund: Round 2

This fund is part of the package of COVID-19 support established by the Scottish Government to help support organisations that are vital to the cultural life of Scotland and require funding to help prevent insolvency and/or significant job losses due to the impact of COVID-19.

Performing Arts Venues Relief Fund: Round 2

This fund is to provide performing arts venues in Scotland with emergency funding that will allow them to remain solvent, will support the return of staff from furlough, and will provide support for new artistic commissions from freelance artists.

Open Fund: Sustaining Creative Development

The fund aims to enable individuals and organisations to explore ways of working that will help them to adapt and respond to the current changing circumstances.

Youth Arts Fund

£3m has been allocated to support youth arts and ensure creative opportunities for children and young people continue to exist across Scotland despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

Regular Funding

Regular funding seeks to ensure Scotland has a breadth and range of arts and creative organisations and sustainable environments through which artists and creative people can deepen and deliver their work, their engagement with the public, and their professional networks.

Targeted Funding

A selection of ring-fenced funds which support specific art forms, specialisms or geographic areas.

Funds Delivered by Partners

As part of our Targeted Funding, these are a selection of funds and development initiatives which are delivered on behalf of Creative Scotland by other organisations.
