Creative Scotland response to First Minister's Covid-19 update

Published: 16 Mar 2021

The First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, today announced a further update to the timetable for easing Covid-19 restrictions.

In response, Iain Munro, Creative Scotland CEO said:

“We welcome the easing of restrictions announced today by the First Minister, including for galleries and cinemas from 26 April and 17 May respectively. We appreciate that large parts of the sector in Scotland remain impacted by restrictions and we continue to work to alleviate that impact as much as possible. Like everyone, we hope for further news over the coming months for the reopening of the rest of Scotland’s culture and creative sector, in line with health advice, as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic eases.”
