New funding supports Scottish creatives to develop business opportunities

Published: 30 Jul 2019

Today, Wednesday 31 July 2019, Creative Scotland announces a call out for applications to the next round of the Go See Share Fund.

Go See Share supports attendance at festivals, conferences and events for individuals, organisations and creative businesses based in Scotland, enabling them to meet potential partners, access global markets and promote their completed projects.

This fund is a fantastic opportunity to support Scotland’s creative businesses to explore new ways to expand business activity- Jessica Bonehill, Creative Scotland

The Fund has previously supported attendance at events or festivals focused on business development or business sustainability and has funded national and international travel to see examples of best practice, or to visit a person or organisation to explore new ways of working.

Creative Scotland’s Jessica Bonehill said: “This fund is a fantastic opportunity to support Scotland’s creative businesses to explore new ways to expand business activity, helping them to become more financially sustainable while sharing what they learn with the rest of the sector.”

The Go See Share Fund will open for applications across two rounds in 2019/20. The deadlines for applications are Wednesday 4 September 2019 and Wednesday 20 November 2019. Funding guidelines and application forms can be accessed at creativescotland.com/funding/funding-programmes/targeted-funding/go-see-share-creative-industries-fund.
