Karen leads on our work within Place, Partnerships and Communities. The Place, Partnerships and Communities team covers areas including Gaelic Arts, Scots, Traditional Arts, partnership development with local authorities and other regional and national bodies across Scotland, and strategic initiatives including the Place Partnership Programme and Culture Collective.
Karen was previously Place, Partnerships and Communities Officer at Creative Scotland. Prior to Creative Scotland, Karen joined the Area Development team at the Scottish Arts Council in 2001, supporting work with Local Authorities and the Arts in the Community programme. During her time at the Scottish Arts Council, Karen also worked in the Communications team, as Website Officer. Karen is a Gaelic learner.
