Independent non-Board Member Committee Recruitment

Creative Scotland is the national body for creative development. We support a Scotland where creative activity is vibrant, valued and experienced by everyone inclusively. We are here to enable creative people, communities, places and activity to thrive.

The Board of Creative Scotland is excited to invite candidates to apply for several independent non-board committee members to help shape our thinking and bring different voices and perspectives to our governance.

We believe this is a unique learning opportunity for both you and our Board – our aim is specifically to provide new knowledge and skills to future leaders. We are seeking professionals who are early in their professional career and have not yet had an opportunity to gain an insight into company management or governance skills but who share our passion for supporting the arts, screen and creative industries across all parts of Scotland.

We invite recently CCAB-qualified Accountants and a wider range of business professionals with expertise in relation to EDI, HR, Change Management and IT/Digital to support the committees in their key areas of responsibility.

You will be fully supported and have your voice heard at the highest level in our organisation, whilst developing a deep understanding of Creative Scotland and the duties of a board.

Through our commitment to improve representation in all that we do, we particularly welcome applications from protected groups, including women, and those from minority ethnic communities, non-British nationals, LGBTQI+ people and people with disabilities.
