Showcase Scotland 2024

Showcase Scotland is an industry event, part of the Celtic Connections Festival, which promotes and facilitates export and showcasing opportunities for Scottish based artists working in the genres of folk, traditional, world and acoustic.

Over 180 delegates travel to Glasgow from around the world to experience live performances as part of the festival with the opportunity to attend a Trade Fair and various networking receptions, which have led to many important partnerships and deals for Scottish musicians in the past.

In 2024, Showcase Scotland is partnering with Norway to showcase Scandinavian talent.

Celtic Connections

Celtic Connections is Glasgow’s annual folk, roots and world music festival.

In 2023, 2,100 musicians from around the world brought the city to life, celebrating its connections to cultures across the globe.

The world-renowned festival will once again light up stages, venues and dark winter nights from Thursday 18 January to Sunday 4 February 2024, for what will be one of its biggest-ever capacity festivals. Check out their programme and get tickets now.

Sounds of Scotland Showcase

In 2024, the Sounds of Scotland Showcase will take place on Thursday 25 January in Glasgow where Gaelic and Scots artists working in the traditional/folk music genre will perform to the international delegates.
