Book Week Scotland is a week-long nationwide focus project on books, reading and writing. A programme of book-related events were held across the country, with an emphasis on enjoying reading, be it a book, comic, blog or newspaper.
Initiated by the Scottish Government and supported by Creative Scotland, Book Week Scotland is delivered by Scottish Book Trust, the national charity changing lives through reading and writing, along with a Readers in Residence programme in libraries.
