Crowdfunder and Creative Scotland are excited to announce that the Creative Scotland Crowdmatch projects are now live!
Crowdfunder teamed up with Creative Scotland to launch the fundraising competition to provide an extra boost for creative projects in Scotland.
Creative individuals, groups or businesses were encouraged to let us know their creative ideas in order to take part in a competition to win a share of £150,000 in match funding (up to £10,000 per project) towards their crowdfunding campaign.
This year, there are a great variety of projects, such as the Govanhill Community Cinema, Singing for Dementia, Brass Blast Youth Band, and Recycling Equipment from Beach Plastic. These projects are currently crowdfunding to get their creative projects funded.
Creative Scotland will match pledges from the crowd up to £10,000. This means that if a project successfully raises £25,000 from the crowd, Creative Scotland will contribute £10,000 towards the total.
