Scotland’s creative businesses are invited to take advantage of new funding to help future proof their businesses.
Individuals, organisations and creative businesses in Scotland can now apply to the Go See Share initiative, supported by the National Lottery through Creative Scotland.
The scheme enables creatives to explore and share new ways to expand their business activity and make them more financially sustainable by connecting with and learning from international creative business models.
Funding awards of between £3,000 and £10,000 will enable the cohort to identify export opportunities, forge international connections and profile Scotland’s successes in the global marketplace. The knowledge and insights gained will be shared with the industry back in Scotland, helping to make the sector stronger and more sustainable.
Jessica Bonehill, Creative Industries Officer at Creative Scotland said: “International collaboration and exchange are vital for new ideas and new connections between nations to flourish. This fund provides vital opportunity for Scotland’s creatives to connect with and learn from their UK and international counterparts. The learning will inform business models and future practice and will be shared with the industry back in Scotland, helping to make the sector stronger and more sustainable.”
