Following today’s announcement of the new Scottish Cabinet, on behalf of everyone at Creative Scotland I would like to welcome Angus Robertson MSP to the role of Cabinet Secretary for the Constitution, External Affairs and Culture, and Jenny Gilruth to the role of Minister for Culture, Europe and International Development. We look forward to working with them to help deliver Scotland’s cultural ambitions over the coming years.
I would also like to offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to Fiona Hyslop MSP for everything she has done to champion Scotland’s creative sector over the past decade. Her support for art and creativity, and the value they deliver to all parts of society, has been unwavering. We send her our very best wishes for the future.
