Creative Scotland response to Scottish Government's Proposed Budget 2019/20

Published: 12 Dec 2018

Following the Scottish Government's proposed budget announcement, we are pleased to say that Creative Scotland’s Grant in Aid budget for 2019/20 is £62million, remaining broadly the same as in 2018/19.

This maintains ring-fenced funding for Regularly Funded organisations, Screen Scotland and the Youth Music Initiative, all of which we warmly welcome.

As always, we continue to work closely with the Scottish Government to ensure that the arts, screen and creative industries in Scotland continue to thrive.
