Absnet Architects Benevolent Society

The Architects Benevolent Society is dedicated to helping architects, assistants, technologists, technicians, landscape architects - and their families – in times of need. They help people of all ages who have experienced illness, accident, redundancy, unemployment, bereavement or other personal difficulties. Their support ranges from confidential advice to financial assistance.


ACAS work with millions of employers and employees every year to improve workplace relationships. They are an independent public body that receives funding from the government. Includes advice on sick pay, home working, short-time working.

Actors Benevolent Fund

The ABF is considering applications from professional actors, actresses and stage managers who have contracted Covid-19, or are self-isolating, once the individual has applied for Universal Credit or Employment Support Allowance. They are unable to consider applications from individuals yet to apply for either of these benefits.

Arts Marketing Association

Art Fund

Specific support for the Art Fund museum network and grant holders on impacts of Covid-19.

Dance Fund

Financial grants to dance professionals of all ages. To be eligible for funding you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Have three years of professional dance performance, teaching or choreography in the UK
  • Be a practising, former or retired dance professional; or in certain circumstances, be a dependent of a dance professional
  • Be in receipt of all the state benefits you are entitled to at the time of applying
  • Have individual savings of less than £6,000 if of working age, or £16,000 if retired
  • Have no other significant means of support e.g. from a partner or from capital assets

Help Musicians UK

Many musicians may be fearful of the implications Covid-19 could have on their own health and their performance and teaching commitments, which in turn might have an impact on a range of issues, including finances and mental health.
