Last month, Culture Secretary Angus Robertson confirmed £9.5 million funding for Scotland’s flagship Youth Music Initiative (YMI) during a visit to the Sounds Like Music pilot project at Murrayburn Primary School in Edinburgh, which expands existing music provision to include children with additional support needs in mainstream schools.
