Creative Scotland May 2023

Welcome to your May newsletter

We're kicking off Pride Month early thanks to the National Lottery, whose funding is empowering LGBTQIA+ voices from across Scotland to share their stories in the latest round of our Open Fund awards.

In more funding news, there's £9.5 million for the Youth Music Initiative from the Scottish Government, plus a boost for Tasgadh and Maoin nan Ealan Gàidhlig, and a brand new fund for arts and mental health provision supported by and delivered in partnership with the Baring Foundation and the Mental Health Foundation.

We're looking forward to hosting our Multi-Year Funding Briefing Sessions in June, and while these are now fully booked, a recording of the live session - including FAQs - will be made available in July.

Plus, we've got all the latest news and opportunities from across Scotland.
