Creative Scotland December 2023

Welcome to your December newsletter

As the year draws to a close, on behalf of everyone at Creative Scotland, I want to send our very best wishes to everyone who makes our creative and cultural life in Scotland so special.

Our global reputation as a creative country draws on the inspiring talents and energy of the many professional people, volunteers, organisations and businesses working across Scotland’s arts, screen, and creative industries and which have such an impact on our health, economy, learning and communities.

The sector continues to face unprecedented challenges but enormous amounts of ambition remain. At Creative Scotland we will continue to do our very best to help create the conditions for culture and creativity to thrive, working with others and within the resources we have available. As part of this, I pay tribute to my dedicated colleagues at Creative Scotland who work so hard to make this happen every day, throughout the year.

Whatever your plans, I hope your festive season is full of joy and happiness with your loved ones.

With warmest best wishes for 2024,
Iain Munro
Chief Executive, Creative Scotland
