Creative Scotland April 2023

Welcome to your April newsletter

This month we've got festivals across the country, PITCH, Make Music Day and SoundPlay Projects among a bumper crop of 85 projects supported by the National Lottery in this month's Open Fund.

The Scottish Government announced £1.8 million for Scotland's world-class arts festivals, including - for the first time - funding for Glasgow Film Festival and the biennial Sonica visual art and sonic festival, and in event news, Aye Write, Glasgow Jazz Festival, Art Night Dundee and Edinburgh International Festival have revealed their 2023 programmes.

The 18th International Architecture Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia 2023 is fast approaching - we've got updates on Scotland + Venice partnership commissioned collateral event A Fragile Correspondence, and Creative Scotland-supported Dualchas.

Plus, we've got all the latest news and opportunities from across Scotland.
