In terms of Stage 1, and how applications were scored/marked, the process was broadly as follows:
- the Stage 1 guidance (pages 14-17) outlined and signposted the information on what we were looking for in response to each criterion
- the guidance (page 18) also outlined how applications would be assessed and the scoring system we would use to mark the responses provided
- the assessment report will have summarised our review, both in terms of score and narrative summary, as to how well any applicant did in addressing the criteria.
