The Stage 1 guidance carries a short trailer as to what Stage 2 will involve, on page 20 of the Multi-Year Funding Stage 1 guidance for applicants.
While Stage 1 is looking to assess the intentions of the applicant in relation to the funding criteria, Stage 2 will look to examine the evidence that these intentions can be delivered.
Stage 2 will still be assessed against the same criteria as Stage 1, and we anticipate that the broad structure/layout of the application process will also be similar to Stage 1.
The main difference will be that applicants will be required to submit a Business Plan as a central part of their Stage 2 submission, and much of the application process will require the applicant to identify the parts of their Business Plan that provide the necessary evidence that their Stage 1 intentions can be delivered.
