In Stage 1, when filling out the budget tables, will applicants need to include a detailed breakdown for each budget line of how costs have been calculated, for example, how staffing costs have been reached?

The budget information requested is quite topline at Stage 1, with applicants being asked to select budget lines from a series of dropdown menus, before giving us a short description of what it covers, how much, and whether it is cash or in kind, guaranteed or pending.  

At this stage we are not asking for detailed, complex calculations of how you’ve reached the figures included and instead it is more for context and to generally get a sense that what is broadly laid out in the budget table lines up with what is said in the wider application in terms of outline programme plans.

Applicants successful to Stage 2 will be required to supply more detailed budgetary information as part of their business plan.
