There is nothing in the guidance for Multi-Year Funding which states that applicants must have a set percentage of other partnership funding in place, or that Multi-Year Funding can only provide a set percentage of overall income.
In the past, our funding to organisations has varied – with some operating in a situation where our funds were the majority of their income, whilst others had many other sources and our contribution was less than 10%. It depends on the business model and what organisations are aiming to achieve.
But there is no set requirement to have set levels of partnership funding from other sources and we do not stipulate any limits that our funding must meet in terms of representing a percentage of expenditure. Where we believe there is scope for additional income to be gained, it will strengthen an application if this is addressed.
