Multi-Year Funding will replace the current Regular Funding for Organisations programme which presently supports 119 organisations.
It will not replace the National Lottery Open Fund for Organisations, which will continue to run in its current form for the foreseeable future. However, Multi-Year Funding is designed to replace elements of our open funding where we have been using open funding to support organisations on a year‑on‑year basis – and this sort of ongoing and repeat support through the Open Fund (and also some of our targeted funds) will cease. After Multi-Year Funding is introduced, our open funds will be updated and adapted to reflect this new focus and more information on this will be made available in due course.
