When we ask this question in the Governance and Management section of the application form, we do so because Creative Scotland are committed to supporting a more diverse leadership in Scotland’s cultural sectors, so we need to know more about organisations that consider themselves to be diversity-led. This will duly inform our thinking when we come to review some of our final decision-making and help us to understand if we have gaps in that area.
Whilst we recognise that not all organisations may be able to demonstrate diversity-led practice, all organisations should still meet their responsibilities under the equality act.
