For each question in the Funding Criteria section, there is a 3500-character limit (which equates to approximately 500 words per answer).
There are three questions in each criteria, and there are six criteria in total – so any applicant answering all 6 criteria will be working to a maximum of 9000 words. In addition to this, there are three questions in the governance section (a further 3 x 500 words = 1500 words total) and a further 300-word allowance for you to tell us if you feel your organisation is ‘diversity-led’.
In total, therefore an applicant answering every question would have a total of 10,800 words maximum to tell us their intentions in the Stage 1 application form.
