The new Open Fund: Sustaining Creative Development is different in a number of ways:

• We have simplified the guidance documents
• We have added more specific prompts in the application form, responding to feedback from applicants
• We have created separate guidance, application and assessment routes for organisations and individuals
• We have reduced the maximum award to £50,000, reflecting the reality that the current situation makes it difficult to plan for longer-term or more complex projects
• We have simplified the criteria to ensure that we are in a position to support a wide range of projects and activities
• We are placing more emphasis on the impact and public benefit of projects in recognition of the limitations on public engagement at this time
