The Open Fund for Individuals cannot accept applications from anyone applying on behalf of an organisation, or to support their work with an organisation as an employee. If you are self-employed/freelance artist or creative practitioner, or a sole trader, then you may be eligible to make an application to the Open Fund for Individuals, assuming you also meet our other eligibility criteria as detailed in the Guidance for Applicants.
If you have an organisational structure (such as a partnership, a company limited by guarantee, a charity, a SCIO or CIC) then you are not eligible to make an application to this fund. If your project includes plans to work online with children, young adults or other vulnerable populations then you need to consider online safeguarding carefully. In order to meet our criteria, your application must demonstrate an understanding of what risks might exist in online spaces and how you will mitigate against these.
