Funding for writers and publishers looking to develop a book should be made through the Quality Production Programme. The fund will support the research and development costs for writers who are looking to develop a book – through the ‘Project Development’ route. For publishers who are then looking to produce or publish the book, funding can be sought from the ‘Production and Presentation’ route. Read more
Artists looking to take up positions as an Artist in Residence, can apply to the Professional Development Programme. This programme will support artists for a range of skills development activity and is open all year round. Apply at any time, and you’ll get a decision within 8 weeks. However, please note that if the residency has been established with funding from Creative Scotland then you wouldn’t normally be able to get additional funding support to undertake the placement.
