In the context of arts activity in schools, ‘partnership working’ means that the artist or arts organisation can demonstrate that schools are active collaborators in the project and that appropriate joint planning has taken place to ensure the project is adding value to the learning experience and enabling access to quality cultural experiences for all learners.
