Salary: £34,330 (grade C) pro rata plus pension and benefits
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Location: The contractual base for this post is Edinburgh, however, opportunities for flexible and smarter working are offered

We are looking for a full time Theatre Officer to join us and support Creative Scotland's work in the context of our Strategic Plan and our Annual Plan. They will be an active member of the Theatre team to assess and make recommendations on a range of funding applications and specialist projects. The successful candidate will also be expected to lead on several different projects and support the wider work of the Theatre Team across a variety of different programmes particularly the Open Fund and the Touring Fund and be confident in representing Creative Scotland in stakeholder meetings and further public forums.
The person appointed will work closely with cultural organisations and other key stakeholders to support the delivery of our work.
Our ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience and knowledge of the theatre sector primarily in Scotland, but also in the UK and internationally. Our work in providing support and funding ranges from building based organisations, producers of large/mid/small scale classic performance (including adaptations), visual theatre and physical performance and to the growing number of independent artists, practitioners, producers, and organisations working in cross/multi-disciplinary and contemporary performance.
