At Creative Scotland, we take great pride in our role as supporter of the arts, screen and creative industries. We do this as a development organisation, a funder, an advocate, and as a public body, and we do this through working towards a robust strategy.

Strategic Framework

We've established a refreshed Strategic Framework to guide our work. This Framework is aligned to our formal remit and legislative duties, setting out our broader aims as well as our priorities for supporting future recovery and renewal of the arts, screen and creative industries across Scotland.

Priorities

Equalities, Diversity and Inclusion

We aim to put equalities and diversity at the heart of all our activity enabling people from different backgrounds, from diverse communities and of all ages to access increased opportunity through access to arts and culture.

Environment

Climate change is one of the most significant challenges that face us today. We want to ensure that we work in as sustainable a manner as possible and that the arts, screen and creative industries in Scotland do the same.

Fair Work

One of Creative Scotland’s strategic priorities is Fair Work. On this page, learn more about Fair Work and find resources that support organisations, employers and individuals in Fair Work policies.
