EU Referendum survey

Published: 08 Aug 2016

Please note the deadline for survey responses has now passed.

Our Chief Executive, Janet Archer, introduces a survey aimed at helping us better understand the impact of the EU Referendum result for Scotland’s arts, screen and creative industries.

Shortly after the EU Referendum outcome became clear, I issued a statement underlining our continued commitment to supporting Scotland's vibrant arts, screen and creative industries in the context of positive and continued international relationships.

We are keeping in close contact with the Scottish Government to understand the implications of the Referendum outcome for Creative Scotland and the arts, screen and creative industries more broadly.

To help with this, we would like to understand better how the result of the EU Referendum might affect the work of organisations and individuals within Scotland’s arts, screen and creative industries.

As such, we’d appreciate it if you could take the time to respond to this short online survey.

Your responses will be confidential but they will, collectively, help us to understand the potential impact of the EU Referendum result and your concerns. Your feedback will also help inform our discussions with the Scottish and UK Governments as they negotiate our future relationship with the EU.

Despite uncertainty, there are opportunities ahead. Scotland's arts, screen and creative industries sectors are passionate, buoyant and thriving. They have a pivotal role in generating meaning for both present and future generations and our role continues to be to help them do that in many different ways.

Janet Archer, Chief Executive, Creative Scotland

The deadline for responses was Wednesday 31 August 2016.
