Scottish Showcase @ Cambridge Folk Festival

A partnership between Creative Scotland and one of the UK’s most celebrated folk festivals, the Scottish Showcase aims to raise the profile of Scottish artists performing at Cambridge both nationally and internationally. It features some of Scotland's most established performers as well as providing a significant platform for emerging Scottish talent.

Now in its third incarnation, this year’s showcase included established acts such as the Peatbog Faeries, Emily Smith, Brian McNeil, Orkestra del Sol, Saltfishforty and the Paul McKenna Band alongside newcomers Admiral Fallow, Mànran, Ewan Mclennan and Rachel Sermani. Young musicians from Fèis Rois also performed as part of their summer Ceilidh Trail project.

Showcase artists receive professional development support from Creative Scotland and are given performance opportunities across the Festival’s stages.
