Quality Framework

Arts organisations should set their own measures of success, and such measures should be meaningful and appropriate for their work. This way of working should promote a culture of self-evaluation and continuous improvement which is transparent and accountable. Creative Scotland endorses the principles of the Quality Framework (pdf) and the responsibility will now lie with organisations to meet such requirements.  In the interests of embedding best practice, Creative Scotland does expect the Boards of those organisations to review their performance relative to this framework at least once a year.

National Performance Framework

The Scottish Government’s National Performance Framework is used to focus government and public services on creating a more successful country, with opportunities for all of Scotland to flourish, through increasing economic sustainable growth. The National Performance Framework guides Creative Scotland’s work.
