About the Programme
A programme for those looking to develop and create high quality work in any artform - particularly work that has a clear public outcome such as an such as an exhibition, performance or publication.
In 2013/14 £5.9m is available for application across two routes:
1. Project Development
Project development funding supports the early research and development of new work, or a commissioning stage to test ideas and to establish appropriate methods and approaches.
Awards will be in the region of £1,000 - £20,000.
2. Production and Presentation
This funding supports the creation of imaginative and ambitious new work, produced to the highest standards for the enjoyment of audiences across Scotland.
Awards will be in the region of £1,000 - £70,000.
Who can apply
Quality Production is open to both Individuals and Organisations.
Applications will be received on a rolling basis until Friday 31 May 2013.
After that there will be three deadlines:
- Monday 1 July 2013
- Monday 7 October 2013*
- Monday 6 January 2014
Applicants will be notified of the outcome no later than 12 weeks after the programme deadline.
* Please note that due to the closure of the Creative Scotland offices over Christmas 2013, any application submitted for the 7 October deadline will be notified within 14 weeks of the programme deadline.
