A programme for organisations to deliver projects that provide access to high quality experiences in dance, film and/or music for young people (0-25 years), in communities where there is an identified and demonstrated need.
Creative Futures will support the establishment of programmes of professional development activity that exist to benefit a number of people. This can include activities like artist's residencies, exploratory investigations, inter-disciplinary exchanges, cross-sectorial collaborations or other developmental activity.
Where are Scotland's most creative places? These awards are open to cultural organisations, community groups and/or local authorities who are able to demonstrate how creative activities and programming in their villages and towns is helping to promote the identity of individual communities.
This programme supports both the emerging and established film and television talent in Scotland. Funding is available for the development, production and exploitation of feature films, feature documentaries and network television series. Support is also available to attend key markets and film festivals. In partnership with other organisations, there are also a number of film talent development initiatives.
We aim to foster distinctive and engaging work which is using digital technologies where they interact with music, film, publishing, visual arts or other creative industries. The Innovation Fund offers finance to creative projects in the form of interest-free loans.
A programme for organisations seeking funds to support the research, development and presentation of work internationally.
Professional Development is primarily for individuals, although we will accept applications from arts organisations on behalf of individuals to develop skills and/or professional practice – for example through participation in workshops, attending conferences, receiving mentoring or a structured programme of technical skills development.
A funding programme for organisations to support the initial research and scoping of a public art project, for example a piece situated in a public space such as a hospital, public park, school or playground.
The purpose of the fund is to enable the development and production of high quality public art projects that bring artists, people and places together.
A programme for organisations to deliver projects that remove barriers to engagement with high quality artistic work. Funding should aim to encourage participation, and enable communities and individuals to explore and develop their creative and cultural lives.
A programme for organisations seeking funding to develop and produce high quality work in any artform. Work should have a clear public outcome such as an such as an exhibition, performance or publication.
A fund for organisations looking to improve their long-term resilience, financial or environmental sustainability.
This programme supports organisations or consortia to offer business development support to creative practitioners.
A programme for organisations seeking funds for the presentation of high quality arts activities through regular programming, touring and festivals.
Traditional Arts Commissioning
A fund to support new commissions of Traditional Arts activity – of various scales and art forms (including film and digital platforms).
Youth Music Initiative
A programme for organisations seeking funding to create access to high quality music making opportunities for young people aged 0 - 25 outwith school time. The fund will also support strategic action that will strengthen the youth music sector in Scotland for the benefit of young people.
