We're pleased to reveal the last in a series of short films highlighting the breadth and depth of arts funding in Scotland.
Live Music Now Scotland featured alongside nine other artists and community-based projects in a specially commissioned film to highlight the breadth and depth of National Lottery arts funding in Scotland.
Live Music Now Scotland performs in care homes, hospices, day centres, special schools and secure units, whilst also supporting emerging artists at the outset of their careers with performance and training opportunities.
The programme received £98,211 from Creative Scotland to support 115 musicians and 600 performances throughout Scotland (plus 60 internationally) bringing music to over 30,000 people. Latest figures reveal that over £33.7 million of National Lottery funding was allocated last year (2015/2016) to Scottish arts projects.
